For some students I create personalised courses with recorded video lessons, while those wanting more ongoing practice and support can enjoy daily mini lessons, even on WhatsApp.
All of my students, including on group courses, are given the space and time to learn at their own pace. I help everyone overcome any issues, have fun as they learn and build up that all-important relationship of trust and cooperation over time.
In short, everyone has their own way, their own ‘world of Italian’.
Let’s learn to speak Italian!
A spontaneous, positive atmosphere helps overcome any apprehension and continuous practice aids learning.
Practice, practice, practice!
During our lessons, everyone has the chance to learn and put what they have learned into practice, going straight from theory to practice. A constant stream of interesting material and fun activities help you practise real-life experiences and free speaking.
Smiling… makes things easier
Everything is easier with the relaxed, calm atmosphere I encourage during lessons. This lessens the fear of talking, which can often hold students back and stop them from learning.
From words to phrases
Grammar doesn’t always have to be boring. Grammar gives us a solid base and helps us take flight and express ourselves freely, beyond the standard phrases learned by heart.
A few rules at a time and immediate practice
Doing lots of repetitive exercises is boring and doesn’t help us remember any better.
In my courses, grammar rules are practised immediately so they become a living part of the language, aiding gradual understanding.
Music as well as words!
Learning a language doesn’t have to be boring. A number of tools can be used to help us learn in a more fun and useful way.
One example?
We end every group lesson with a song, which students can listen to for the rest of the week.
It’s a great, simple way to expand your vocabulary, improve your understanding of the spoken language and your pronunciation..
